“Johnny and his crew were great with a rapid and efficient approach to our tree trimming needs in a wooded urban area. The tree shapes now look good with our home better protected. Their complete cleanup makes our property look well tended. It is pretty easy to recommend his services.”

“I highly recommend this company. I live in quite a wooded area. Downs Tree Service has done several large tree cuttings and trimming for my property/home. The 2026 ice storm results called for some good tree service, and of course, they did a great job. They are safe, efficient, professional, and amazingly quick with care. They have always done a wonderful cleanup of debris. Johnny evaluates my tree/trim needs with experience and good judgment. That is important to me. I am very pleased with the results and dependability. Highly recommend!”

“They did a great job removing problem limbs and trimming up a Poplar tree for me. I'd definitely use these guys again! Very professional and courteous.”

“Great experience with Downs Tree Service! The team was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended!”

“I called Downs Tree Service on Tuesday. He came out on Wednesday to look at the trees I wanted cut down and a tree that I wanted cut back. He gave me an estimate for the work. The crew came out on Thursday. They had the trees cut down, the tree cut back, and cleaned up the limbs, tree trunks and debris in less than 4 hours. One tree had limbs hanging over our pavilion roof. When they cut it back they did NOT hit the pavilion roof. One tree had limbs hanging over and on our neighbors storage building. When they cut it down they did NOT hit her storage building. We had a dead pine tree that had always leaned towards our neighbors driveway. When they cut it down they protected a small Crepe Myrtle tree that had came up on its own by putting it out of the way. The guy who climbed in the trees was fascinating to watch. He would tie a rope around the branch and the guys on the ground would pull the rope in the direction that they wanted the limb to fall. They were extremely hard working professional guys. I will highly recommend Downs Tree Service to anyone who needs any work on trees done. I will call Downs Tree Service for any future tree removals. If I could give them a higher rating I'd do it in a heartbeat.”
